The Branam Foundation is built on the life’s work of Dr. Stephen R. Branam, a pioneer in pediatric dentistry with more than 50 years dedicated to improving children’s oral health. Over his career—including service as a U.S. Army dental surgeon—Dr. Branam has has performed over 500,00 patient treatments, many with special needs.
Through decades of clinical experience and research, he recognized a critical gap: traditional fluoride-based approaches strengthen enamel but do not fully address the bacterial causes of tooth decay. In response, he developed a safe, all-natural toothpaste formulated with xylitol, which has been shown to be significantly more effective at reducing cavities.
Today, the Foundation builds on that work to shift the model from treatment to prevention. We work to expand access, raise awareness, and deliver practical solutions that improve outcomes for children and families.

Our Mission Is:
Reduce tooth decay in families for a lifetime. Achieving this goal begins at birth by introducing innovative educational materials along with providing a new generation of safe, effective, and consumer-friendly dental health products to those who cannot afford them. Our focus is underserved families especially those with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder or Down Syndrome. We are willing to support and fight for these families and intend to earn their trust. We will partner with any qualified organization having the same goals and objectives: Serving our target populations and having a desire to help.
